Monday 10th June: back to sixth form, ill and tired. |
Tuesday 11th June: 'nom nom chomsky' |
Wednesday 12th June: it's amazing how one little thing can change so much. |
Thursday 13th June: a catch up and biscuit. |
Friday 14th June: happy birthday♥, a long and harsh day. |
Saturday 15th June: a summer fair, seeing people and feeling tired (still). |
Sunday 16th June: happy fathers day. |
This week saw a few 'special days' that weren't particularly great. Still, Fathers Day (today) has been pretty good! Friday I watched the sunset (typical me!) came home, and watched the stars appear for a certain person. So Happy Birthday to them!
Another short main blog, next week I'll try find something interesting to tak about, there's a few cool things happening next week, so should be better, hopefully I'll be feeling a little more with it, more awake and better. Onto things of the week:
MUSIC OF THE WEEK
This first is song has been on repeat for the past week, I love it! I warn the video is really weird, and when I watched it I got a bit of a Wizard of Oz vibe (I'm probably the only one, but yeah...) I've been cycling quite a bit recently and this has been one of the songs I've listened to whilst cycling, and it's a good car tune too!
La La La ft. Sam Smith - Naughty Boy: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=3O1_3zBUKM8
The next song is from someone I'm pretty sure I'll have mentioned before, I saw him live at the Gabrielle Aplin gig I went to in March, but yeah...
Volcanoes - Andreas Moe: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=4K9x4F40_Wo
Then a classic from one of my favourite artists, she's been mentioned on this blog A LOT! But you'll be hearing this song a lot more on the TV soon as it's one of the main songs for a new film about Princess Diana, which from the trailer looks really good too...
Salvation - Gabrielle Aplin: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=wWttGChn5ZE
Last but not least, one of my all time favourite artists when I was younger, and she has remained one of my favourites through the years... I'll link her performance of the song on the Voice as it's less likely to have all the 'offensive' things in it...
Here's To Never Growing Up - Avril Lavigne: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=G3FEk5z0898
A quote to finish with... 'goals that are not written down are just wishes'
evan. :)
