Monday 15th April: last day of being remotely sane for a while. |
Tuesday 16th April: back to sixth form and tired. |
Wenesday 17th April: a walk along the river. |
Thursday 18th April: i like rainbows. |
Friday 19th April: 'i feel sorry for sausage dogs' |
Saturday 20th April: 'not everything ends' |
Sunday 21st April: summer, shorts and stuff. |
So, I don't have a clue why I called each entry what I did, but hey ho! I went back to sixth form this week, had a limited amount of lessons due to certain teachers being off, had a 'challenging' lesson with the Year 7s, and some confusing lessons for me, especially in PE...
Started mind mapping my notes for revision, and also starting to get slightly apprehensive about my upcoming exams... considering they're around 3 weeks away.
Didn't really do much during the week, but this weekend I've been shopping and got some t-shirts and 3/4 length stuff for the summer and probable things to take to Kenya, actually went out in shorts and a t-shirt yesterday because the weather was so nice. Although, I ended up putting a hoody on shortly after cos my arms got too cold :(
Started thinking about the final two fundraising events I'm hoping to sort out with few others for our trip to Kenya. It's scary to think it's just over 2 months til all our money has to be paid in, then the crazy summer of sorting everything else out! I keep having moments where I think how insane it's going to be out there, and how stunning the sunsets and stars are going to be, then how we're gonna be helping kids and communities out there and seeing different lifestyles and yeah I could go on...
I also finished the book 'Wonder' by R.J.Palacio, it's a really well written book, I read it in about 2 days, obviously with time in between for work, but it's a page-turner. On the front is a precept (word I learnt from the book) which says 'you can't blend in when you were born to stand out.' Definitely a good read, no matter what age, except maybe not like junior school age?!
I haven't spent as much time as I usually do listening to music this week, but I've been listening to some 'classics' this week, so two of the following are just summer sing a long feel good songs and the other is from a guy I saw support Gabrielle Aplin a month ago (which is crazy).

This Year - Andreas Moe: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=-vfbcsj_bUk
Twitter of the Week: BBC One favourited one of my tweets :) Jess Revell who plays Elektra in Tracy Beaker Returns & Dumping Ground followed me, and Lem Knights (the guy with the fro on Team Jessie on the Voice) followed me too :)
Quote of the Week: 'everyone in the world should get a standing ovation at least once in their life'. - August Pullman, a fictional character.
Highlights of the Week: Hunger Games: Catching Fire trailer was released!! It's looking soooo good!! Also, Doctor Who, was actually pretty good this week, I thought the classic ghost story was pretty nice but the twists in it were good too, first one I've properly enjoyed and found a bit creepy this series, The Voice was ok this week, I sort of get bored with the auditions process so hopefully when the battle rounds come round it'll pick up a bit.
There we go for another week :)
Thank youu
evan. :)
