6th February 2013: cold pizza, football and pyjamas.

Today's photo is the sunset through some bare trees. I had cold pizza for breakfast and lunch cos I went in late today, seeing as I had two frees to start the day. Then I had psychology, which was fun, although the person sitting next to me decided to start peeling an orange... orange juice, peel and the smell, everywhere :S Cheers Charly!! :P
Then I had EPQ which was a great 20 minutes of my life, enthralling in fact, the teacher had no idea what my name was, and the only thing she could remember about me was that 'we didn't see eye to eye in Year 10', yeah you're still not helping yourself...
Anyways lunch I spent sat in the common room, dipping in and out of conversations, and watching Thru My Eyes videos, which are insane, they're slow-mo videos and HD quality photography videos and stuff by Sawyer Hartman, and they're basically what inspired me to try and start making my own videos, unfortunately they probably won't be half as good, but I can try :P
Then, my last lesson was PE, an asthmatic person running round in the cold, one girl against like 7 guys at one point, I was not amused, all for a PE assesment, that I don't wanna be completely assessed in?!  ANYWAYS! Yeah it was great fun :/
Then home, had a bath cos my legs were aching :( then I fell asleep for an hour, did some coursework and started writing this, and it's taken me awhile, seeing as computer froze and decided to hide most of the stuff I'd written out, hence the change in font today... Listening to my 'onedayatatime' playlist tonight, so a mixture of Josh Record, Ben Howard, Bastille, Kodaline and plenty more... The football's not going badly for England tonight...
I'm off to do some PE questions, then I'll be off to bed.

Thanks

31st January 2013: eye see you.

So today, I haven't done much, did my community enrichment, spending an hour with Year 7s :/ and then had PE Theory and English Lit, then I came home to watch India v West Indies Womens match for warm-up for the World Cup, which is the 10th one! Had a cheeky burger king for dinner, most probably with a hint of horse meat. Now off out to Homegroup, to thank lots of people. So short one as I'm supposed to be out the door whilst I'm writing this.. If you're lucky there might be an edited copy of this photo in my new video... :P

Hyping with my best friend about seeing Girls Aloud in 31 days!! We're also prepping what we're gonna do when we go and see Lauren Aquilina, definitely in for a Nando's :D mwahaha!! #

Rightdoodles... More on transfer dealine and England Womens game tomorrow :D totally gonna try and wake up at 3.30am tomorrow to watch it... DEDICATION!

24th January 2013: jam sandwiches.

I had jam sandwiches today. Today's photo has a mug in it, representing the hot chocolate I am about to drink. The paper with text on is the programme for Saturday, I've had to print out 48 of them, and now I'm about to fold them all D: Interesting story, I went to a certain supermarket beginning with T, whom I'd had a letter from saying I could pick up a donation for the raffle... They denied sending out an email or ever receiving an email X_X so now we have to go back tomorrow and they'll sort it out :) It's not like I'd printed all those programmes with a thanks to this supermarket for their donation or anything :P
Hoping to have my camera back in full flow very soon, at the moment I'm borrowing one, so just need to sort out batteries then will have my camera taking photos and managing to connect up to the computer and everything :D
What about  this ball boy last night then? He should have respected that he was doing a job and shouldn't have acted in the way that he did (time-wasting), however I still don't agree with Hazard's reaction, yeah sure he wanted the ball quickly as any footballer would with a limited amount of time on the clock, however, is there really any need to kick him and obviously hurt him? Sport recently hasn't been getting a very positive view through media, whether news (TV/papers) or by matches/competitions being shown on TV. There's all these people saying there should be positive role-models in sport and yet the media manage to push all negatives to the front, so positives get forgotten. Most recently, events with Lance Armstrong in cycling, Shane Warne in the Big Bash, and now Hazard in football, all of these, I feel have been blown out of proportion through many ways, but they're obviously good at what they do, does it go to their head? Or does it just  give them a bit of publicity? Who knows.

22nd January 2013: it's been a long day...

Say hi to 'Jolly Santa' his leg tasted very nice and I got a retweet from the singer I posted about the other day, Josh Record, I officially think he's amazinggg :)
It's been a long day... I've had 4 lessons of English, a subject that I'm loving right now! NOT! Oh and psychology... So I had a full day at school, I've got to finish 3 areas of my English Language coursework by the latest, next Tuesday, but I need two of these areas finished by Friday... Whilst I need to be doing this, I am trying to finish organising last minute things for Saturday, which is fast approaching...
Anyway back to this English coursework... It's fine, except I find it pointless, when I find something pointless I'll take my time to do it, and stupidly sometimes won't do it at all... Obviously this isn't my plan for this coursework, HOWEVER I do find it a bit stupid, BUT I am getting my head round it, and I will be doing it for when my deadline is... although, I do struggle to understand why we need to do TWO style models for an article, because all I will end up doing is finding the same things in both articles and repeating myself, which is surely pointless? I'm really regretting taking English Language, as you might be able to tell from my recent blogs, but most of the work I either find pointless or just a bit boring I guess... :S I don't want to offend my teachers cos they don't set the coursework, so it's not their fault... The only positive about this work is that I can do an editorial article about sexism in sport... You are all probably thinking 'here we go, evan's going to go on about how men think it's wrong for women to play cricket' but no, I'm going to put a spin on it (see what I did there?) I'm also going to show sexism towards men in sport... Have you ever seen men play netball or rounders? This is what I want to do my article about and if you have a view on it please comment, because you're likely to be part of my coursework... (if that's ok?) I'd like to know if you find sexism in sport towards women more prominent or men, what sports are included in this, and if you think this will change...

Thank Youu!!

14th January 2013: Twelve Days Of Stressors...

Today we had snow!! It didn't last very long, but it was still around...
Also, I was happy to see this morning when I looked at the BBC Sport website in my free 2 unlikely news stories were there... The first being about England Women's Football team having their contracts increased... The second about Sarah Taylor, the current England Ladies wicket-keeper and vice captain of Sussex Women... Someone I looked up to whilst keeping for Surrey.. She has been backed by coach, Mark Lane to have opportunities to play for Sussex Men's second XI if required... This would be a groundbreaking move for not only Taylor, but for women's cricket and sport. Good Luck Sarah!
Finally for today... It's the 12 day countdown to the fundraising evening I'm holding, and I'm starting to panic... Trying to stay calm and do things bit by bit, as well as do homework and coursework is... challenging. Anyways, here's hoping I can get through it, and avoid as many stressors (learnt today in psychology) as possible...
